Summer fruit grows in full sun -- and that means you'll be catching a lot of rays when you're picking your own summer fruit! While you'll be nibbling on fruit that's warmed by the sun, you don't want to get overheated. Be sure to bring sunscreen, a hat, and lots of water. You can often purchase water at the U-Pick, but expect to pay a premium for it.

Also, if it's berry season, be sure to bring some wet-naps -- berries will certainly stain your hands!
