Veniero's has been around since 1894, and says it's the oldest Italian bakery in the country, which may very well be true. There are lines out the door for its baked goods, which range from perfectly crunchy biscotti to sinful cheesecake, cannoli and much, much more. Don't be fooled by the less crowded bakery on the corner of 11th street and 1st Avenue -- that's not Veniero's.
