Oahu Market is the oldest in Honolulu's Chinatown, dating back to 1904. This is the place for meat lovers -- and a place that vegetarians and those upset by seeing things like whole roasted piglet heads may want to avoid. (In which case, head to the less-intense markets nearby, Maunakea and Keakaulike.)

Every animal that's commonly eaten on the islands is available here, and that includes all their parts: there are several cases filled with pig snouts. You'll also find whole roasted ducks and barbecued meats of all description, and there's plenty of fresh fish on offer too. Keep an eye out for handwritten signs advertising povi masima, a salt marinated beef brisket that's very popular in Samoa.
