The Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory & Visitors' Center is conveniently located just outside downtown Hilo, and en route to one of the area's major tourist attraction, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park . Here, you'll learn all about one of Hawaii's most important (and delicious) exports, and look right into the factory to see how macadamia nut candies are made. At the gift shop, enjoy free samples, take a break with some nutty munchies and pick up macadamia nut gifts to take home.
